This legislation established the foundation for a new, tightly regulated supply chain, allowing Canadian adults to access quality-controlled cannabis.<\/p><p data-start=\"348\" data-end=\"457\">Since then, cannabis products have been legally sold by retailers authorized by their provincial governments.<\/p><p data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"770\">To <strong data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"503\">cultivate, process, and sell cannabis<\/strong>, you must hold a <strong data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"556\">license issued by Health Canada<\/strong>, and in some cases, a <strong data-start=\"579\" data-end=\"620\">permit from the Canada Revenue Agency<\/strong>.
